Changing Places has moved my mother from home to a nursing home, from one nursing home to another and from room to room in that nursing home. The staff was competent, compassionate, considerate and kind. My mother has moved many times in her lifetime and so is an experienced mover. She was thrilled with the service of Changing Places. She will not hear of using any other mover.
Changing Places carefully packed, unpacked, and placed all items wherever Mother wanted them. They hung pictures and shelves. In a matter of six hours she was out of the house and settled in her new environment. There was nothing for her to do but relax and enjoy. It was a similar experience when she had to be moved from one nursing home to another.
I cannot give enough accolades to this company. If you are over the age of 55 and need to move, contact Changing Places.

My Mom called me the other day just so delighted to tell me that you managed to have her china dishes sold at auction. Wow! That's pretty terrific of you and I wish to thank you very sincerely for adding another layer of happiness and great relief to my Mom's life.
The assistance your company, Changing Places, provided my Mother during her recent move was a God Send to her and her family.
None of her children could be in Vancouver to help with a very difficult and unsettling change of residence. The all-encompassing assistance, attention, caring, planning and consideration that you and your team brought to my Mother's aid was remarkable and I dare say; even better than we could have provided.  The level of friendship and understanding your company demonstrated had deep meaning to her and has impressed her children with deep gratitude.
From us, Changing Places gets the highest recommendations possible when assisting seniors with difficult changes in their lives.  Congratulations and thank you for providing such a commendable service.

We want to take this opportunity to thank John and his team for doing such an outstanding job moving our parents into Whitecliff Retirement Residence. You went above and beyond the call of duty and it felt like you were part of our family during that stressful time!
We would HIGHLY recommend Changing Places Vancouver to any family contemplating moving elderly loved ones. John was instrumental in helping to decide what furniture and belongings should be moved; packing everything up; buying lamps and assorted items needed for their new home and arranging furniture and hanging pictures once the move had taken place.  All this was all accomplished with humour; patience and respect for our parents' wishes.
Thanks again!!

John Verster and his crew are very reliable and sensitive to seniors' needs, even when these complications have not been addressed by the senior or their family. They are careful and punctual.

When I decided to make a move into a retirement home, I decided to call John Verster of Changing Places. I have now moved with no stress to me and am a very happy person, thanks to John and his well-managed team.

I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for the company Changing Places and associate John Verster. I used Changing Places to help my aunt move from her home of 33 years to a retirement home in Burnaby. As you can imagine, this was a very distressing move for her. I couldn't have asked for a more sensitive and caring transition from one location to another. John and his business associate, Jane Dewing, created a safe, appropriate and inviting new residence for my aunt. This was done in an efficient and effective manner. All of Changing Places' services were utilized effectively. These service were planning and coordinating all moving activities and downsizing, as well as emptying Aunt Phylis's home. Having agreed to the scope of work required, we established a timeframe and budget. John completed the work on time and within budget and I am delighted with the results. I have no hestitation in recommending the services of Changing Places and John Verster. I will certainly be calling on them again as the need arises.
