Changing Places owners are all Certified Professional Consultants on Aging (CPCAs) Each of us has experience working with the elderly, and we approach even the smallest of their concerns with sensitivity and attention.
John Verster

Vancouver managing director John Verster understands both the logistics and the emotions behind moving. John has been working with Changing Places since 2006 and managing the company’s Lower Mainland operations since 2009. John takes great pleasure in seeing clients happily settled into their new homes.
Prior to this, he worked in the conference and exhibition industry in South Africa for 12 years, overseeing projects on short deadlines and tight budgets.
John is a visual artist with a creative flair. One of his strengths is the ability to conceptualize, arrange and create pleasant, safe and functional living spaces.

Jane Dewing

Principle Owner Jane Dewing’s success as a moving consultant incorporates organizational skills gained in over twenty-five years of work as a nurse, and as an Executive Director of the Cool-Aid Society, a large social service agency in Victoria BC. Through this experience, Jane understands the importance of creating a sense of home and community to ensure a person’s health and well-being.
Jane loves to help seniors adjust easily to their new homes. Her ability to help with the smallest detail reflects her sensitivity and concern for people.
